E-nno develops and offers energy optimization and monitoring solutions for real estate and construction professionals. The system relies on data and AI algorithms to increase energy efficiency and reduce building’s environmental footprint

Solar Impulse Efficient Solution labelled, E-nno’s technology turns any existing heating system into “smart” heating systems that become able to ancitipate building’s needs in order to adjust in real time energy consumption depending on occupants behaviour and external energy supplies.

Today, the heating demand of more than half a million of squared meters are managed through E-nno’s optimization service across Switzerland. The resulting energy savings reaches an average of 17% across buildings covering both housing and commercial facilities.

Q What is the pricing model of your solution?

Our solution is financed through a unique pay-as-you-save business model, supported by the energy performance contracting model (EPC). The optimization service is covered by a fraction of the cost savings resulting from the energy efficiency gain.

Q How much energy can the solution save ?

The energy saved by our solution varies across heating systems technologies and buildings properties. To date, our algorithms have saved 17% of annual consumption on average. The largest energy savings observed so far is 35% which translate to a reduction of 40% in greenhouse gas emissions.

Q How is the energy savings computed?

An accurate assessment of the energy saved thanks to our optimization service is critical for us. That is why we are certified by the Efficiency Valuation Organization (evo-world.org) to provide energy efficiency assessment using the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) methodology.

Q How long does it take to observe energy savings?

We are able to start our optimization service in the third month after the installation of our technology and are able to instantly provide energy savings measurements. This period of time is much shorter than that of the mainstream solutions which typically take one year or more to generate observable savings.

Q Which buildings is the solution compatible with?

We developed a technology compatible with all buildings and their existing installations. In addition to traditional heat sources such as natural gas and heating oil, we currently optimize buildings equipped with heat pumps and district heating systems.

Q Does the solution need to be installed within the living areas ?

All of the sensors required by our solution are placed in the boiler room. We are also able to place optional sensors within the living or commercial areas to further improve the energy efficiency of the building as well as for monitoring purposes.

Q Where is the data stored and processed?

All of the data that we collect and use for our services is securely stored in Switzerland. Our technology is both a certified swiss made and swiss hosted software and we work with swiss cloud providers to host our solution.

Q Can building owners access the data generated by the solution?

As a data consolidation actor, we are able to provide data to our clients at any time through interactive dashboards, APIs or point in time exports.
